HIRE AND TECH

Hire

Whether it be a drum kit, a couple of guitar amps, a small Latin percussion setup or the complete percussion requirements for a Mahler symphony, we’ve got you covered. Rosewood Music is home to one of the largest collections of percussion and drums in the country. We have everything from timpani, all tuned percussion right the way through the range of orchestral, Latin, and other world percussion, drums, cymbals and gongs.

Our collection has been meticulously chosen to make sure that all our instruments are of the highest standard. This goes all the way to hand built 5-octave marimbas, beautiful calf headed bass drums, hand forged tuned nipple gongs, authentic log drums and an endless collection of weird and wonderful SFX. Our drum collection houses all the household names and have all been chosen from their flagship ranges including some of the great sets of the past such as Ludwig, Slingerland and other great sets. Our hire department is run by professional percussionists and drummers with decades of experience between them, so rest assured, your requirements will be fully catered for with a total understanding of what is needed. We also include a full delivery and collection service to wherever the instruments are required. With many years working extensively in London and the UK, we have relationships with all the major concert halls, arenas and recording studios which means that all you need to do is book the instruments and tell us the dates required and we will take care of the rest.

TECH

With the professional musician in mind, we fully understand the need for complete customer service which is why we offer a comprehensive technical package. This ranges from setting up instruments that are being hired through to supplying technicians for concerts, TV broadcast and tours. Our techs have worked alongside Larnell Lewis for Quincy Jones, Ian Thomas for Seal and Children in Need Rocks, Burt Bacharach, Marc Almond, Magic FM, The One Show and multiple contracts for the BBC and ITV to name a few. We look after several session and touring musicians, some of whom choose to store their equipment with us so they can literally just turn up to Abbey Road and play their guitar or walk onto the stage at the O2 and pick up their sticks.
